The mission of the West Concord EDA is to ensure the sustainability and viability of the community and to maximize community assets. With a focus on community development that is consistent with the community's objectives, the EDA will work to maintain an abundant and diversified economic base through the judicious use of resources. West Concord will strive to be a vibrant community committed to providing opportunities for growing families, with a diversified population. This will be obtained through good transportation, various recreational amenities and economic stability. Goals set by the EDA include housing development, community infrastructure, maintaining and leveraging revolving loan funds, and attracting and maintaining a diverse range of businesses. Location One provides demographic and workforce information, statistics on housing and commercial activity, education, government, and property tax information, and land sites. Business Assistance offered by the EDA includes a West Concord Energy Loan Program, Revolving Loan Program, and staff help to access county, state, and federal financial resources.
